What's Happening in our Gifted Classrooms - Grade 7

It's Ecological

Mrs. Martin's science classes will be focusing on problem solving through experimentation. Seventh grade Life Science classes will be studying ecology. In January, the 7th and 8th grade gifted students visited the new Gwinnett County Environmental and Heritage Center in Buford.

7th Graders learn Geometric Constructions

Seventh grade math students are doing old-fashioned geometric constructions with a compass and a straightedge, as well as with computer software.

Around the World

Ancient civilizations in Asia and Africa will be the starting point for Ms. Williams social studies classes' trip around the world this year.

Good Writing is Critical

In Ms. Espana's Language Arts classes, the first nine weeks will concentrate on Modeling Daily Grammar Practice, Poetry and Writing units, with continued emphasis on correct grammar, usage, mechanics and spelling.
