Your report
should be a minimum of three well-written paragraphs, one
paragraph on each of the main topics below. Your grade will be based on
your content as well as the 8th grade writing test scoring rubric. (80
points) |

You should have a
picture of your mathematician, either printed from the Internet,
photocopied or traced from a book, or hand-drawn. (10 points) |
|
You must have a
bibliography, listing all the sources you used for your research, as
well as the source of your picture. (10 points) |

Extra Credit
(10 bonus points) If your mathematician is still alive, send him or her
an email message or a letter. If you get a response, attach it to your
report for the bonus points. |

This will
count as a double classwork grade for math, as well as a journal
grade for Language Arts. |
